For over 20 years, I have dedicated my life to caring for animals, with the past six years serving discerning pet families in New York City. This is not a side business — it is my profession, my passion, and my responsibility.

Together with my girls, Gracie and Leya, I welcome each guest into our home as part of our extended family. Every dog receives the same attention, respect, and thoughtful care that we give our own.

Intentionally Small-Scale Care

Julie’s Precious Pawtel is designed to remain intentionally small.

To preserve harmony, safety, and emotional well-being, we accept a maximum of two dogs at a time, or up to three dogs when they come from the same household and are fully compatible. Each guest is carefully selected to ensure a calm, balanced group dynamic and a peaceful shared environment.

This limited capacity allows for individualized attention, unrushed routines, and a level of care that simply isn’t possible in larger facilities.

Behavioral Support & Confidence Training

Some dogs need more than standard daycare or boarding to feel truly at ease. Julie’s Precious Pawtel offers Behavioral Support & Confidence Training for anxious, sensitive, or overstimulated dogs who benefit from calm structure, clear boundaries, and consistent handling.

Support is integrated naturally into each dog’s day through predictable routines, thoughtful supervision, controlled social exposure, and individualized guidance. The focus is on building trust, emotional regulation, and quiet confidence — never pressure, force, or correction-based methods.

Because we operate on a very small scale, each dog receives the time, consistency, and attention required to feel safe, understood, and settled. This service is offered selectively and by consultation only, ensuring the right fit for both the dog and the group.
